13. Waiver. The provisions of this Agreement may be waived only by the written agreement of the parties. Delay or
omission by either party to exercise any remedy or right accruing on default or breach of the other party does not
alter or impair any remedy or right under this Agreement.
14. Relationship of Parties. INSERT NAME OF SCHOOL and INSERT NAME OF ORGANIZATION agree that
this agreement shall create an independent relationship only, contractor and that nothing herein may be construed
as creating any general or limited partnership, corporation, joint venture, or other jointly owned or operated
business entity of any description.

I5. Employees of Parties. Each party shall be solely responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and compensating their
respective employees. No employee of either party shall, by reason on this contract, be considered an employee of the
other party, as jointly employed, or otherwise eligible for any benefits of employment by the other party.

16. Conduct. ORGANIZATION agrees establish standards of
employee and/or employees volunteer workplace conduct in addressing the conduct towards other INSERT
NAME OF ORGANIZATION volunteers, INSERT NAME OF SCHOOL employees, students and members of
the public. Such policies shall be not less stringent than those established by the INSERT NAME OF SCHOOL
board of trustees in its published policies. INSERT NAME OF ORGANIZATION may satisfy its obligations
under this paragraph by adopting ISD's policies by reference but shall not thereby be entitled to confer upon
NSERT NAME OF ORGANIZATIONs employees any rights as an employee of INSERT NAME OF SCHOOL.
Criminal background checks will be performed on all INSERT NAME OF ORGANIZATION staff according to
INSERT NAME OF SCHOOL policy.
