•  Assign a site leader who can make decisions on issues related to safety and security, in-
                  take and registration, service interruptions, etc .
               •  Assign one person at the start of the event to be in charge of feeding the staff
               •  Create a no-show protocol for critical staff members.
               •  Keep an updated list of vendors on board in case of vehicle or equipment failure
               •  Engage a regular housekeeping service, and have them perform a deep-clean every six
                  months
               •  Hire security as needed
               •  Be mindful of the possibility of long hours and weekends.

           Staff competencies and continuous quality improvement

           You owe your clients the highest level of care, and you owe your staff members the training and
           professional development necessary to deliver it. Frequent feedback is a good place to start, and
           can be both formal and informal . Here are some ideas:
               •  All-staff competency reviews after each event
               •  Periodic audits of processes
               •  Clinical reviews conducted by physicians and professional boards
               •  Peer networking opportunities, like those afforded by Mobile Healthcare Association
              •   Consultant auditing
               •  nternal staff surveys
               •  Client surveys
               •  Analysis of client data
               •  Community partner surveys

           Engaging professional support
           Your core staff will be supported by an army of professional services. These may well be available
           ‘in house’ in your larger organization  If not, budget for expenses in these areas early, and make
           sure on-vehicle staff knows how to contact them during events.
               •  Medical staff
               •  Information technology, ideally with weekend hours for tech and equipment repair
               •  Central sterile and infection control
               •  Equipment and radiation safety
               •  Pharmacy, ideally with delivery services
               •  Accounting and billing
               •  Security for vehicle or staff, with option for overnight staffing
               •  Housekeeping
               •  Development and fundraising
               •  Marketing and communications
               •  Billing
               •  Vehicle maintenance
               •  Legal and risk management
               •  Medical oversight
               •  Client records management
               •  Human resources, often sourced from your parent organization
              •   Audit and compliance
               •  Web and social media team
