Mobile Healthcare Association Announces Leadership Transition
Mobile Healthcare Association today announced that, after more than a decade of dedicated leadership, Elizabeth Wallace is stepping down as Executive Director.
Since assuming the role in 2014, Elizabeth has been a driving force behind the Association’s growth and transformation, guiding it through some of its most defining years. Under her leadership, member services expanded, new strategic partnerships flourished, and the Association‘s revenue tripled, strengthening both the mission and impact of the mobile healthcare field.
Elizabeth’s commitment was particularly evident during the COVID-19 pandemic, when her leadership positioned mobile healthcare as a lifeline for the nation’s most vulnerable populations. Her ability to unify our members and mobilize resources enabled the field not only to persevere but also to lead and innovate in response to unprecedented challenges.
“We are deeply grateful to Elizabeth for her unwavering dedication and her pivotal role in elevating both our Association and the field as a whole,” said Dr. Sanghamitra Misra, Chair of the Association’s Board of Directors. “Her legacy of collaboration, strengthening shared purpose, and visionary program development will continue to inspire and guide our work for years to come.”
Energized by momentum and measurable impact, the Association looks forward to building upon Elizabeth’s remarkable accomplishments and embracing an ambitious future. With a strong foundation in place, Mobile Healthcare Association is well-positioned for its next chapter of growth and innovation.
To ensure continuity and continued progress on the Association’s impactful work, the Board of Directors has recently appointed an interim leader to guide the organization, and Elizabeth Wallace will serve as a strategic advisor to the interim leader for the remainder of the year. As for next steps, the Board of Directors will share more information soon about the interim leader as well as its plans for a national search for the next Executive Director.
Sincerely,
Board of Directors
