Mobile Healthcare Association Receives a Grant from Direct Relief’s Fund for Health Equity to Launch New Educational Program**

St Louis, MO – February 18, 2025 – Mobile Healthcare Association is proud to announce that it has been awarded a $200,000 grant from Direct Relief’s Fund for Health Equity to support the launch of its Mobile Healthcare Masterclass Series. This new initiative aims to empower mobile healthcare providers with the tools and knowledge needed to address health disparities and promote equity in underserved communities.

Direct Relief’s Fund for Health Equity mobilizes financial resources for organizations focused on non-clinical interventions commonly known as the social determinants of health. The grant will enable the Mobile Healthcare Association to deliver high-quality education and programming that strengthens the capacity of mobile healthcare providers nationwide.

“Our partnership with Direct Relief’s Fund for Health Equity will allow us to support our members in making meaningful strides in reducing health disparities,” said Elizabeth Wallace, Executive Director of Mobile Healthcare Association. “Through this new program, we aim to equip mobile clinic operators with the knowledge and resources they need to expand access to care and improve health outcomes for underserved populations.”

About the Mobile Healthcare Masterclass Series

The Mobile Healthcare Masterclass Series will consist of 60–90-minute virtual sessions designed specifically for mobile clinic operators. Topics will include strategies for scaling up programs, addressing social determinants of health, integrating maternal and chronic care services, and mobilizing healthcare for disaster response. Each session will feature interactive discussions, peer learning opportunities, and downloadable resources to ensure participants can apply what they learn in their communities.
