Mobile Healthcare Association Announces Don Blanchon as Interim Executive Director
Mobile Healthcare Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Don Blanchon as Interim Executive Director. Don brings more than three decades of executive leadership experience in healthcare delivery, financing, and strategic business planning, as well as mission-driven service to community nonprofits. His professional experience and personal commitment to health equity will support the Association‘s mission-critical work during this period of leadership transition.
Don currently serves as the Founder and CEO of Wasque Advisors LLC, a strategic consulting firm that helps organizations and leaders strengthen their long-term impact, navigate change, and build sustainable financial and cultural strategies. He is well-regarded for his current work on the Driving Health Forward campaign, a national coalition of more than 130 organizations working to expand mobile healthcare to address known access to care barriers. Mobile Healthcare Association is a proud partner in this campaign.
“Don brings a proven track record of purpose-driven leadership and a deep commitment to community-centered healthcare,” said Dr. Sanghamitra Misra, Chair of the Association’s Board of Directors. “His experience, business acumen, and passion for ensuring access to care for all make him the right leader now to guide the Association during this important transition. We are confident in his abilities and core values to support our members with clarity and vision.”
As Interim Executive Director, Don will work closely with us, our team of employees, and our members to ensure stability, advance key strategic initiatives, and continue the Association’s mission of supporting mobile healthcare programs across the country.
Mobile Healthcare Association extends its gratitude to its members, partners, and stakeholders for their continued engagement and looks forward to Don’s leadership in the months ahead.
Best wishes and happy holidays,
