Communities across the U.S. are at risk of natural disasters and other emergencies. Mobile health providers play a vital role in emergency response by providing timely and accessible healthcare services when and where they are most needed, and they are called upon to respond to urgent community needs. This workshop brings an opportunity to hear from mobile health providers that responded to the wildfires in Los Angeles County and bring about a larger discussion on the importance of investing in emergency preparedness before disasters strike. This workshop also aims to spark discussion around preparedness strategies, concerns, and gaps, and share lessons learned and resources.
