In this workshop we will discuss how to engage in patient-centered program improvement through an equity lens. Program participants and the speaker will talk about our understanding of equity and its role in quality improvement. We will walk through key steps of identifying opportunities for program improvement including determining what questions you want answered, employing feasible methods to collect information from patients and developing and testing improvements based on the information you’ve gathered. Participants will have the opportunity to think through and discuss real-life barriers to program improvement and possible solutions.
