Trauma informed care strives to understand the whole individual, and everyone has a role in implementing this approach. This session will provide an understanding of the prevalence of trauma and adversity and the effects on individuals. In addition, an explanation of how functions of the brain may be impacted by stress and trauma. Participants will learn how to implement trauma informed care principles into work.
