Community Partnerships – University of Arizona Mobile Health Clinic Prenatal and COVID-19 Vaccination
The University of Arizona Family and Community Medicine Mobile Health Program serves a diverse community of patients in southern Arizona who are uninsured or medically underserved. Since the program’s start in 1976, the program has partnered with organizations within our community to provide essential healthcare services, including prenatal care, family medicine care, COVID-19 vaccination efforts, health screenings, and more. In our presentation, we will discuss the specific partnerships formed to help operate and sustain the prenatal care program and the COVID-19 vaccination program through the lens of specific patient cases. These partnership development methods could potentially be used by other programs serving similar communities to help develop robust programming to provide high quality patient care and promote health equity in our communities.
