Paramedics have a diverse and significant role in mobile healthcare including building patient relationships that we found essential as COVID-19 increased many challenges to access to care. Using out-of-the-box thinking, paramedics helped establish a telehealth clinic. Using compassion to ease the fears of technology, allowing providers and medical students an opportunity to resume clinical services, and provided NeighborhoodHELP with the resiliency necessary to recover from adversity.
