Mobile healthcare programs are essential lifelines during disasters, particularly in underserved communities where access to care is already limited. This Masterclass equips mobile healthcare leaders and staff with the tools and strategies to prepare their programs for effective emergency response. Participants will learn how to build strong partnerships with public health and emergency management agencies, ensure vehicle and equipment readiness, and secure critical supplies in advance of crises. The session also emphasizes staff training through disaster simulations, role-specific protocols, and preparedness planning. In addition, attendees will explore funding opportunities and grant support to strengthen program resilience. By focusing on proactive planning and readiness, Part 1 lays the foundation for seamless integration into emergency response systems when disasters strike.
