Call for Nominations – Mobile Healthcare Association Board of Directors 202
Mobile Healthcare Association is a non-profit organization with a dedicated membership base of mobile healthcare providers. It is governed by a Board of Directors and represents over 530 organizations nationwide that currently operate (or plan to operate) mobile health clinics.
Each board term is three years. Up to three director positions will be available commencing September 15, 2025. Members will elect representatives to the Board of Directors at the 21st Annual Mobile Health Clinics Conference, September 13 – 16, 2025.
Mobile Healthcare Association members in good standing (with dues paid in full to date) are invited to submit a nomination (of themselves or another Mobile Healthcare Association member) to serve on the Board of Directors. Only one person per organization may be nominated. The nominee must represent an organizational member of the Mobile Healthcare Association.
Each nominee must submit a resume and a 500-word narrative reflecting their:
- History of participation at the Mobile Healthcare Association’s Annual Conference; at Mobile Healthcare Association Regional Coalition and Special Interest Group meetings; and/or, on special initiatives/projects in which Mobile Healthcare Association is engaged.
- History of leadership with any other association/organization (i.e., Board of Directors, Officer, committee chair).
- Vision for the mobile healthcare field.
- Commitment to Mobile Healthcare Association in its evolution to a national advocacy and resource clearinghouse for the mobile healthcare field.
- Professional experience and ability to assist in growing the Mobile Healthcare Association.
- Commitment to the fiscal foundation of the Mobile Healthcare Association.
Leadership Standards – General Requirements:
- Leadership experience with mobile health clinics (of any service discipline), healthcare provider organization(s), public health, or membership-based association(s).
- Administrative/governance skills, such as strategic planning, fundraising/grant writing, public relations/marketing/communications, relationship building and advocacy, and/or resource development and execution.
- Broad knowledge of healthcare (and local to federal) infrastructure and the mobile health clinics field.
- Commitment to attend two annual Board meetings in person (one in the first quarter (Feb/March) and one immediately following the Mobile Healthcare Association’s Annual Conference).
- Commitment to participate in up to eight virtual Board meetings annually.
- Participation in decisions or input on association business as requested by the Board Chair or Executive Director.
- Commitment to attend the Annual Conference and participate on committees of the Mobile Healthcare Association, Special Interest Groups (SIGs), Regional Coalitions, etc.
