Call for Nominations – Mobile Healthcare Association Board of Directors 2024

Mobile Healthcare Association is a non-profit organization with a dedicated membership base of mobile healthcare providers. Mobile Healthcare Association is governed by a Board of Directors and represents over 500 organizations nationwide that currently operate (or, plan to operate) mobile health clinics.

Members will elect representatives to the Board of Directors at the 20th Annual Mobile Health Clinics Conference, September 7 – 10, 2024.

Call for Nominations - Board of Directors

There is one director position open which will commence September 9, 2024 for a three year term.

Mobile Healthcare Association members in good standing (with dues paid in full to-date) are invited to submit a nomination (of themselves or another Mobile Healthcare Association member) to serve on the Board of Directors.

Only one person per organization can be nominated. The nominee must represent an organizational member of the Mobile Healthcare Association.

Each nominee must submit a resume and a 500-word narrative reflecting their:

  1. History of participation at the national Mobile Healthcare Association Annual Conference; at Mobile Healthcare Association Regional Coalition meetings; and/or, on special initiatives/projects in which Mobile Healthcare Association is engaged.
  2. History of participation at the national Mobile Healthcare Association Annual Conference; at Mobile Healthcare Association Regional Coalition meetings; and/or, on special initiatives/projects in which Mobile Healthcare Association is engaged.
  3. History of leadership with any other association/organization (i.e., Board of Directors, Officer, committee chair).
  4. Vision for the mobile healthcare sector.
  5. Commitment to Mobile Healthcare Association in its evolution to a national advocacy and resource clearinghouse for the mobile healthcare sector.
  6. Professional experience and ability to assist in growing Mobile Healthcare Association.
  7. Commitment to the fiscal foundation of Mobile Healthcare Association.


Leadership Standards – General Requirements:

  1. Leadership experience with: mobile health clinics (of any service discipline), healthcare provider organizations, public health, or membership-based associations.
  2. Administrative/governance skills, such as: strategic planning, fundraising/grant writing, public relations/marketing/communications, relationship building and advocacy, and/or resource development and execution.
  3. Broad knowledge of healthcare (and local to federal) infrastructure and the mobile health clinics sector.
  4. Commitment to attend two annual Board meetings in person (one, first quarter and one immediately following the Mobile Healthcare Association Annual Conference).
  5. Commitment to participate in (a minimum of) two Board meetings via conference call.
  6. Participation in decisions or input on association business as requested by the Board Chair or Executive Director.
  7. Commitment to attend the Annual Conference and participate on committees of Mobile Healthcare Association, special interest groups (SIGs), or Regional Coalitions.
