Maternal Health Panel
Early access to prenatal care can decrease poor birth outcomes and improve maternal health. Access to good quality, prenatal care is essential for each woman, regardless of your zip code. This session is a Call to ACTION for all mobile unit teams to help impact babies and women. There are a variety of ways all mobile unit teams can help mothers deliver healthy babies and live to raise their baby. Join us to learn about programs in the country who are delivering prenatal care and options for all mobiles to support prenatal care. Learning Objectives: Learn best practice outcomes for babies and moms. The audience will learn current data regarding infant mortality and maternal health Suggestions will be offered to incorporate a women’s health component into all mobile unit programs. The audience will take away a “Call to Action” for mobile health programs.
